APARTMENT IN SARDINIA

Overlooking the unspoiled landscape of northern Sardinia, this private residence blends harmoniously with its surroundings, adopting a tactile palette that echoes the warm, intense hues of the local earth.

The interiors open generously to the outside through a large window that frames the panorama, turning it into an integral part of the home. The living area flows seamlessly onto the terrace, where a two-tone floor in Compacted Stone becomes a graphic element that defines and structures the space.

The color scheme emerges from neutral, natural tones, enlivened by calibrated accents of coral and terracotta: in the reclaimed dining table with a lacquered frame, in the textiles that enrich the rooms, and in strong design pieces such as the sculptural Roly Poly armchair by Driade.

Materials and objects speak of craftsmanship and a sense of place: fabrics transformed into cushions and decorative bands, local ceramics displayed on open shelves, and distinctive elements thoughtfully placed to underline the home’s identity.

The two bedrooms each feature bespoke solutions that share the same Mediterranean sensibility. In the first, a wardrobe clad in handwoven rattan introduces texture and depth; in the second, a lacquered wooden cabinet in ton sur ton terracotta shades reinforces chromatic coherence. The bathrooms stand out for their continuous surfaces and mirrors framed in brass or bamboo.

Suspended between intimacy and openness, this dwelling conveys both the warmth of a private retreat and the expansiveness of the surrounding landscape.
